Sh Stream Assistant Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sh Stream Assistant ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Android application.

Information we collect

• Account information: the email address you use to register, or the username issued by the operator, together with profile information you choose to provide.
• App content and settings: live-room settings, optional TikTok account binding information, and files, photos, videos, or audio that you deliberately select for use in the App.
• Support and diagnostics: feedback you send to us and limited technical information needed to diagnose errors and protect the service.

Camera access

The App may request camera access for features initiated by you. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not uploaded by the App unless you explicitly choose content to upload.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate your account, provide and maintain App features, save your settings, process content you choose to use, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose only the information necessary to service providers that help operate the App, to TikTok when you explicitly use a TikTok-related feature, when required by law, or to protect users and the service.

Accounts, payments, and advertising

The current version of the App is free. It does not display third-party advertising or support third-party sign-in as the primary login method. You can create an account with email and password, and reset a forgotten password with a verification code sent to that email. Operator-issued accounts without an email can continue to sign in with username and password.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. You may delete your account and associated data using the account deletion option in the App. To request deletion outside the App, email junjie.lu@scienjoy.com from the email address associated with your account and include “SHStream account deletion request” in the subject.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network transmission where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
